I have served as a line pilot operating the King Air 350 for air ambulance services. Additionally, I have overseen flight and pilot training for a Part 115 adventure aviation tandem skydiving operation, focusing on training pilots to operate both turbine and piston aircraft for diverse skydiving activities across New Zealand.

Sky has harbored a dream of flying since her childhood in China, a dream she successfully realised in New Zealand. She has taken on the role of an instructor, dedicating herself to assisting others in reaching their own aspirations of flight. Notably, boasting over six years of experience in teaching aviation in New Zealand. Her qualifications include a Commercial Pilot License, a B-Cat Instructor rating, and a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.

Alex Woo
C Category Instructor

Alex’s journey to the skies began in a very different place – studying Marine Biology at the University of Auckland before working as an asbestos consultant.
Driven by a long-standing passion for aviation, he decided on a bold career change, completing his Diploma in Aviation and eventually earning his Category C Flight Instructor rating. Alex is known for his supportive teaching style, with a strong focus on safety, situational awareness, and building student confidence. Outside the cockpit, he enjoys fishing, kayaking, camping, and travelling whenever he gets the chance.

Jerom de Wilde
C Category Instructor
As a flight instructor, I have instructing in the following areas:
• CPL
• C Cat (Single Engine)
Starting out at Walsh, Jerom was immediately hooked on aviation. He then pursued his interest and completed a Diploma in Aviation. Inspired by his previous instructors, he later completed his C-Cat instructor rating and is keen to pass on his knowledge and maximise the flying experience for his students. Outside of flying, Jerom enjoys running and keeping up with sports.
